Yousef Hamadeh received a B.B.A. in international business from the University of Mississippi. He earned a J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law. After law school, he joined the firm of Chambliss, Bahner and Stophel in Chattanooga, where he practiced for 10 years, maintaining primarily a commercial litigation practice.

Hamadeh joined the Office of General Counsel in 2016 as assistant general counsel. He provides counsel to the UT Chattanooga campus on a broad range of legal matters, including student conduct, faculty and staff employment, policy and contract/transactional issues.
